For me, it is funny that you are canning bone broth. A couple years ago, I was making demi glace, which I do about once a year (a little goes a long way). My daughter's thought the concept was gross, but then the conversation turned to bone broth, which all their favorite celebrities tout, even those who claim to be vegetarians .🙄 I told them, "If I turn off the burner now, you have bone broth!"

I picked this up on Prime Day for $85, I couldn't pass it up! Literally JUST started (and now finished as I tidy this up) this first run procedure, and decided to look around for info because it was taking FOREVER and I was worried something was wrong. There wasn't anything wrong. ---- My findings for first run instructions (my elevation is 500ft, YMMV): - It took 30 minutes for the water to boil hot enough and the lock to set. It's half-way filled (and I left the trays in to clean/sanitize [note I'm not saying sterilize]), so it takes a while for that water to get to temp. - Once locked, it took 5.5 minutes to get a steady pressure of steam. - 20 minutes starts NOW. - I originally turned my burner down halfway but even after 5 minutes it was still allowing air out, even though not a ton of steam was coming out. I wanted to practice trying to get to normal operating procedures by standardizing the temp... More below... - I eventually turned the temp to a third gas, with 14 minutes left on the 20 minute timer. It stayed at pressure the entire rest of the time, and air stopped escaping. This isn't SUPER important because you're basically heat tempering the unit, not actually cooking/sterilizing. When you are using the unit to cook/sterilize, you want pressure to escape every few seconds, it could be difficult to get it dialed in given the giant size of this 22qt container, and the contents you may have in the unit! - After the 20 minute timer went off, I put it on steam setting to release the pressure. CAREFUL that you don't have your hand over the operation valve like our nice host! > Don't lower your setting! You lose pressure FAST when you do, and it'll take a minute or so to get back! I'm expecting when I go to use it with ~2qts in the bottom, it'll take much less time to get to temp and faster to adjust. While air (doesn't have to have steam) is coming out, it's still under positive pressure even if the gauge reads 0 - a lot of heat and steam will come out when you open the lid! If NO air is coming out, that means the air pressure has neutralized, and possibly gone positive as it cools and some items can be contaminated at this point if your jars aren't verified as sealed. ----- WITH EXTREME CAUTION AND KNOWING I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE, AND YOU CAN GET HURT ..... I stood about 1.5ft (46cm) above the steam as it let out pressure and got a nice facial and cleared my sinuses 😅😅

Once combined, taste to see if the mayo is to your taste, adjust if necessary, refrigerate and enjoy. Please comment to let me know if you try my recipe or have any questions about it. @HandmaidenOfDistinction66854 6 месяцев назад

👋🏾Greetings again! I think that we have all been there. There's a tendency to 'substitute' God for 'tangible' people, places, and other things. It's not easy/the norm to worship God in Spirit and in Truth, especially if we have been tainted or involved in manmade religion. As I always say, the blessed part of it all is when we are delivered from it all and actually have the revelation of who God really and truly is. Then we can begin anew. We can then begin to have true fellowship with God, doing and learning what life is actually supposed to be with and in Him. Still making mistakes, but learning, growing and becoming humbled from/by them. None of us will ever "arrive" as the world puts it. We will always be God's children, He will always be our Heavenly Father (thankfully). We will always be learning and growing by his special grace (as we are fulfilling his purpose for our lives prayerfully). Loved your Feral/wild message btw. It's so accurate and unfortunate at the same time. The reason many of us are, or were like that is because we have not had 'genuine' holy women or individuals to teach and/or model this lifestyle. Coupled with the fact that the true Spirit of God has been lacking in the lives of individuals (we had the church's holy trinity). Many were church goers, church attendees, sat on church boards, mother's boards and the like. But unfortunately, they/we lacked relationship with the True and Living God. We knew/know religion, religious leaders/activities, tradition, customs, and how to perform. That brick-and-mortar building became a substitute for God, Jesus, and His Holy Spirit in our lives. We are well meaning to submit our lives to Christ, but where we error, is by believing that we are to also become a "member" of the the building that I refer to as "the monster or machine". Because we can't serve two masters, we allow the monster/machine to become our master instead of God. It overrides and takes/took precedence over everything (including family). That's when we, or I became shipwrecked. I didn't fully understand that the 'Body of Christ' or 'Kingdom of God' does not exist within a brick-and-mortar building. Or that I am (my body/my life) the Temple in which God's Spirit now lives and dwells fully. I don't need the two of them (the machine and God), which are contrary one to the other, to be saved nor remain saved. God already has his own plan, system or program for that. It's called the Holy Trinity (F/S/HS). Thank you for stopping by!🌿🌼👍🏽😊

I pray that God's will would be manifested in your life. I was just discussing with one of my grandchildren that some individual's "god" could be a potato chip or a piece of lint. So many have no clue who God truly is and/or have created their own god (whom they can control) while referring to themselves as Christians. It's rough out here in these Born-Again streets. Many are so confused and have lost their/the 'Way'. God is looking for those with clean hands and hearts that will point the lost and back-slidden soul to him. God bless you and yours.🌼🌿🙂

I soo wish some wise woman would have schooled me in the ways of building up a husband. I remember, years & years ago when I was a foolish woman tearing down my house, I yelled at my husband & accused him of wanting us to be poor since he wouldn't change jobs (like I DEMANDED). I've NEVER seen his shoulders slump so badly before. After a long session with the Father over many days, I tearfully asked my husband for his forgiveness & told him that if this was the Lord's will, I will be content with His kindness towards us. I've since learned that his provision is absolutely sufficient and even bountiful at times. "I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Thank you for the wisdom given here today!

Amen to all that you wrote and realized! What's important here is that you consulted God. Realized the errors of your ways and made amends/repented/corrected yourself. You also went to your spouse and confessed what you done and your plan to make it right. Do you know how many are still walking around in error!? They have not adjusted themselves at all! They will not consult with God and will surely never humble themselves to their OWN spouse (someone that they are joined to), admitting to their wrongs. It's not always easy but we must always practice humility, it is a "by-product of holiness if you will. It's the "fruit" of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for sharing your testimony. May the Lord be glorified by it.🫂🌼🌿

@@HandmaidenOfDistinction66854 I do mix paprika with smoked paprika, also I make my own seasonings (such as taco, Italian, dry rubs), I will also make homemade onion powder and garlic powder, and I use the leaves from celery as a seasoning by drying them and grinding them.

@@jenniputman wow, I love it! You do everything too! They taste so much better when they are customized. I'm getting ready to dehydrate some celery now to make some seasonings. Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing with us. We appreciate your input/encouragement. 😊🌿🌼👩🏽‍🍳

👋🏾 That's going to depend on the water level and the temperature someone has their burners on. But I imagine about 10-15 minutes on high. Are you a canner, what have you canned lately? I'm behind on some food preservation projects myself. 😊🌱🌼
